Before Recruitive

Before using Recruitive’s software, RCGP used agencies to post vacancies to job boards and then a separate applicant Tracking System from iCIMS to manage responses and candidates. HR Assistant, Fidel Dorrego, explains why they decided to look into
alternative providers: “The feedback we received from candidates was that their journey had been very complicated and this was obviously a major concern for us. As our contract came to a close we decided to look for a system which was more user friendly for our internal users and one which provided a simple and positive experience for candidates.”

RCGP and Recruitive

RCGP looked at Career Builder and Cascade as well as Recruitive, Fidel explains why they made the decision to sign up with
Recruitive: “Our first initial contact was at the CIPD Exhibition in Manchester, I chatted through my requirements with Chloe Black, one of Recruitive’s Business Development Managers. Immediately after the exhibition Chloe contacted me to demonstrate the software fully and discuss the package and our requirements. It quickly became clear the many benefits it would bring to us as a company and we signed up with them in March 2015.”

The cloud based solution enables RCGP’s HR team of 4 to manage the recruitment process completely in-house , including posting
vacancies to their own website at the same time as posting to multiple job boards. Fidel comments: “The database enables our
Managers to have a separate portal allowing the consignment of a vacancy to be allocated to the specific Line Manager. They are also able to pull off Management Information Reports, such as Candidate Source and Time to Hire, this helps us to make further efficiencies to our process.”

Fidel concludes: “Using Recruitive’s software has made a big difference to the HR department, not only has it saved a significant amount of time, it has also saved us money on administration hours. The whole process is automated and completed in one single system. The solution makes our brand look so much more professional which is an important message to convey to prospective candidates.”
