Background

F Hinds are jewellery retailers and were established in 1856, as an independent, family owned and run business and celebrated 160 years of trading in 2016.

They currently have 115+ branches plus their online store. In 2016 they opened the 117th and 118th store in Doncaster and Harlow and are always looking for the next suitable locations.

Their operation is supported by over 1,000 members of staff across all branches and their Head Office.

Implementation

F Hinds did not have a dedicated application tracking system prior to the Recruitive system being implemented.

They were previously receiving in access of 90 CV’s per role so they needed assistance to manage the recruitment process in terms of candidate acknowledgement and short listing. Our applicant tracking system enabled them to track their applications more efficiently and to communicate with their applicants quickly and effectively.

Another big factor was the large amount of third party systems that our software is integrated with, including their own payroll system.

This meant that new roles were advertised and distributed quickly.
