The United Kingdom’s largest IP organisation, Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys, comes together with recruitment software specialist, Recruitive Ltd to launch a new careers and jobs board website, which aims to streamline their hiring process and advertise vacancies to their members.
Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys represents the interests of the UK’s 2,400 practicing patent attorneys and others working in IP to stakeholders and policymakers at national and international level to ensure that the UK remains a world-leading centre for innovation.
What’s more, CIPA is an examining body for patent attorneys in the United Kingdom, promoting their status and influence and providing resources for their lifelong professional development.
After years of requests from companies wishing to advertise jobs to the Patent Attorneys members of the CIPA, it was decided the CIPA needed a careers website with job board integration features.
Recruitment specialist, Recruitive Ltd, joined CIPA to provide them with a secure, GDPR compliant and bespoke careers website and jobs board. The website and jobs board includes a full content management system, search engine functionality and optimisation, full recruitment functionality and jobs feeds to third-party jobs boards, including Google jobs.
The job board platform helps HR Professionals, Recruiters and Hiring teams streamline their recruitment process with innovative cloud-based technology, making it quicker and easier to recruit whilst significantly reducing the time and cost to hire.
The project also included the white-labeling of CIPA’s corporate styling, branding and logo to deliver a fully cohesive user journey, without interruption and minimal disturbance to their existing website.
Sales and Marketing Manager, Steven Day, said: “We first met up with the people at CIPA two years ago, when they were first exploring the possibility of generating additional revenue for their business via the generation of revenue streams from their website. Patent Attorneys have very specific skills, are much sought after and companies were always approaching CIPA to be able to advertise vacancies to their membership. They did not have the skills internally to develop the functionality required to build a full jobs board system. After our initial discussions, we proposed the creation of a fully branded careers website/jobs board, which would operate seamlessly within their own corporate website. COVID delayed the initial launch of the website, so their new website was launched in Spring 2021”.
Recruitive Ltd aims to continue its partnership with the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys by monitoring, analysing and reporting on their SEO position, whilst also supplying Google Jobs support to aid with the expansion and development of the company.
